In the last 24 hours, “pregnancy” was added to the high risk conditions that qualify pregnant woman in Ontario for priority vaccination. This means they are eligible for hospital based programs ie. Pfizer or Moderna. This follows the NEJM article and SOGC statements.
For our patients who are not yet pregnant, our advice remains: we widely support all the of the vaccines that may be made available to you based on age, location, or health history. For a consistently updated list of of who is eligible and why, consider this link

At Hannam Fertility we remain open to all essential services in reproductive care. For example, we strongly endorse fertility preservation (embryo and egg freezing) for anyone who is time sensitive in their family planning needs.
We are keeping you safe when onsite with scheduled appointments, a vaccinated healthcare team, and rapid testing for select patients as part of an ongoing commitment to best practices.
Take care,
Tom Hannam
