I want to thank you for your grace and patience during this unprecedented time (are you tired of the word “unprecedented” yet? I know I am). Everyone I have spoken over these past 6 weeks have been doing their part. Things in all our lives changed dramatically, quickly, and to adapt and stay positive in this climate is no small feat. I’ve been humbled by your resilience.

But it has been 6 weeks.

I know that in my blog posted on March 19 (which seems like so long ago!), I said NCP would be on hold for 6 weeks.

Many of you have seen Dr. Hannam’s communications discussing the plans of our clinic to open. And many of you are feeling restless and eager to restart treatment within the NCP to help you achieve your family goals.

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and have taken this time to actively rebuild the NCP with a focus on safety, while not compromising on your chances of success.

So when will NCP be actively prescribing medication and doing procedures to help you get pregnant?

We are working to initiate care for some healthy patients before the end of May.

What will care look like?

We will rely heavily on you, at home, monitoring your body and using home HCG (pregnancy) tests and home LH (ovulation) tests.

We are focusing on safety, and that means minimizing in person contact.

What do you need to do?

If you need a new care plan, want to review or modify your care plan, have questions or concerns, please reach out to us at ncp@23.253.145.149 and we’ll set up a phone call or zoom. If you feel comfortable with your care plan, email us sometime after mid May to tell us when you think your next cycle day 1 will begin (or if you will need help to have a day 1).

Remember lifestyle: maintain your healthy diet, take your prenatal vitamins and any other supplements that have been recommended to you, exercise regularly, get enough sleep. If you need help let us connect you to our Wellness team.

It has been a long six weeks for everyone. I’m looking forward to committing to specific care dates with you and our NCP team.
