Dr. Arthur is a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is also certified in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Alexander Lagunov

Alexander completed his Graduate studies at McMaster University. Alex has been the Laboratory Director of CCRM Toronto/Hannam Fertility since clinic conception in 2014.
Dr. Tom Hannam
Dr. Hannam is one of Canada’s leading fertility experts.
After obtaining his MD from the University of British Columbia in 1995, Dr. Hannam completed his training (FRCSC) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at McMaster University, followed by a two-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Toronto. Dr. Hannam has sat on the board of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Canada, and the European Society for Human Reproduction and Endocrinology. He has presented his research findings on numerous occasions to international peer-reviewed meetings, and is a frequent guest expert on TV and radio. Dr. Hannam founded the Hannam Fertility Centre in 2006.
Dr. Kim Garbedian
Dr. Garbedian obtained her medical degree at the University of Calgary and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. She has since completed a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at Mount Sinai Hospital at the University of Toronto.
She manages complex problems related to infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and fertility preservation. She has clinical and research expertise in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), such as In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF).
Dr. Garbedian’s emphasis is compassionate care that empowers and educates patients so they understand their fertility diagnosis, investigations and treatment options.
Dr. Shannon Moore
Maintains a practice in both reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Hannam Fertility Clinic and an obstetrics and gynecology practice at THP Credit Valley Hospital.
Dr Moore completed her Masters of Nutritional Sciences before obtaining her medical degree at the University of Toronto. She then continued her training at the University of Toronto with a five year residency program in obstetrics and gynecology, followed by a two year Royal College certified fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI).
Dr Moore manages all aspects of fertility care including investigations, diagnoses and treatment with advanced reproductive technologies (ART). She also performs minimally invasive fertility surgery through laparoscopy and advanced hysteroscopy.
Dr. Carrie Schram
Dr. Carrie Schram is Family Physician with fellowship training in Women’s Health and a Masters of Public Health from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. Dr. Schram has been with HFC since 2011 and is the Medical Director of HFC’s Natural Conception Program. Her interests include supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community in fertility, donor insemination, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and ovulation induction. Dr. Schram provides low-risk obstetrical care as part of the Family Practice Obstetrical Group delivering at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is also is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and regularly works with medical learners.
Dr. Paul Robb
After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Toronto, Dr. Robb completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at The University of Toronto, and completed his three-year subspecialty fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Cincinnati (USA). He is double board certified in the United States, and Canada, in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and also in Reproductive Endocrinology (REI) and infertility.
Dr. Robb was the Principle Investigator of the Oncofertility Consortium at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was voted by his peers as one of the Best Doctors© in America for three consecutive years. He has published peer-reviewed research and presented at meetings in North America and Europe.
He manages all aspects related to infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, and fertility preservation. Dr. Robb enjoys the great mix of human interaction, medicine, and technology that are an inherent part of the specialty.
Dr. Carol Redmond
Dr. Redmond graduated from University of Toronto’s (U of T) Medical School, followed by a four year residency in obstetrics and gynecology, then two years’ fellowship training in Reproductive Biology (U of T). Dr. Redmond practiced general obstetrics and gynecology—as well as her specialty, reproductive biology—from 1988 to 1993 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, and has exclusively practiced reproductive biology since 1994. She is a member and contributor to the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS), the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC), the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS) in the US, and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
Dr. Jessica Fulton
Dr. Jessica Fulton obtained her medical degree at the University of Toronto and continued there to complete her residency training in Family Medicine through Women’s College Hospital.

Zeynep Uraz
Zeynep is a Licensed Naturopath and an Associate Professor at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she teaches Integrative Fertility and leads the fertility care centre at the college’s teaching clinic. She is also a member of both the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
In her private practice at Hannam Fertility Centre, she works with patients to establish optimal health in support of their fertility. Her passion is providing patients accurate, evidence-based information and individualized care for the best possible chance for success.
She and Alan are currently publishing a research study in collaboration with Hannam Fertility, examining the impact of diet and lifestyle education programs on quality of life, weight, and stress measures.
Alexander Lagunov
Alexander completed his Graduate studies at McMaster University. Alex has been the Laboratory Director of CCRM Toronto/Hannam Fertility since clinic conception in 2014. He successfully led the highly professional and dedicated team of Andrologists and Embryologists at CCRM Toronto in achieving accreditation through the College of American Pathologists (CAP)—the only available peer-reviewed Reproductive Lab Specific Certification Program in the Country.
Alex is actively involved in cutting-edge clinical research with various University-based investigators in North America. His work has been published in numerous scientific peer-reviewed articles, conference publications and book chapters in the ART field. Alex is also a member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) and currently chairs the Embryology Special Interest Group.
Alan Vu
Alan is a Licensed Naturopath as well as a Clinical and Academic Adjunct Faculty Member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is also a member of both the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society and has presented at the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society’s Pre-Conference Nursing Symposium.
In his private practice at Hannam Fertility Centre, Alan focuses on an evidence-based approach to diet and lifestyle as well as stress management techniques to help patients optimize their health and fertility.

Karen Lee
Dr Karen Lee obtained her medical degree from the University of British Columbia before moving to Toronto to complete her residency training in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Lee went on to complete a fellowship in low risk obstetrics at Michael Garron Hospital and now provides obstetrical care as part of the Family Practice Obstetrical Group delivering at Mount Sinai. Dr. Lee has practiced full scope family medicine for 5 years before pursuing additional training in fertility medicine.
Nida Taher
Dr. Taher obtained her medical degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, before moving to Ontario for her residency. While in Toronto, she simultaneously completed her Masters in Health Ethics alongside her Family Medicine residency at Women's College Hospital. Women's health and fertility medicine have always been her primary areas of interest, and having had the opportunity to work under Dr. Schram during her residency led to her starting her career in fertility medicine at Hannam Fertility Clinic. Outside of fertility medicine, she regularly practices general family medicine as a locum physician in the GTA.
Harjot Atwal
Dr. Atwal obtained her MD at the University of Calgary and completed family medicine residency at Women’s College Hospital. She is very passionate about women's health and began her career in fertility medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Schram. She additionally provides locum family medicine coverage. Outside of medicine, Dr. Atwal is known for her baking and excellent dog-sitting.

She has received numerous awards throughout her training including the AAGL Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award and the Ray Vaughn Award from the University of British Columbia as well as the Excellence in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Award at McGill University.
Dr. Gilman is a compassionate and dedicated physician who focuses on patient-centered care.
Taryn Yermus
Dr. Yermus completed her medical degree at the University of British Columbia and subsequently completed her family medicine residency at McMaster University. Dr. Yermus has a passion for women’s health and has trained with leading experts in the areas of fertility, breast disease and menopause. Outside of fertility medicine, she has a family medicine practice with a large focus on women’s health. Dr. Yermus is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto and regularly works with medical learners.
Eileen McMahon
Eileen graduated from the University of Toronto with a baccalaureate and Master’s degree in Nursing as well as a post-Master’s Nurse Practitioner Diploma. She holds a Clinical Appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto, holds specialty certification in Perinatal Nursing from the Canadian Nurses Association, and is a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner.
Eileen served on the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society Board of Directors from 2016-2021 and was their first nurse President from September 2019 to September 2020.
Eileen has dedicated herself to identifying best practices for the delivery of outstanding healthcare in an empathetic and inclusive manner. She has a particular interest in fertility preservation.
Dr. Rebecca Arthur
Dr. Arthur is a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is also certified in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Prior to joining the Hannam Fertility Centre, Dr. Arthur was a staff physician at Mount Sinai Fertility for over 10 years. She served as head of Quality Improvement for the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility; was an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto; and the Quality Improvement lead for the Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility fellowship program at the University of Toronto/Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Arthur has a Master of Science degree in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety from the University of Toronto. She also completed her Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility fellowship and her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at the University of Toronto. She obtained her medical degree from McMaster University and, prior to that, Master of Science (Nutrition) and Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degrees from the University of Guelph.
Olivia Leung
Olivia is a Licensed Naturopath and Acupuncturist. She is a member of both the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors, and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
In her practice at Hannam Fertility Centre, Olivia focuses on the foundations of health and evidence-based recommendations to create a sustainable, and individualized plan to help patients optimize their fertility and overall health.
Dr. Sarah O’Connell
Dr. Sarah O’Connell obtained her medical degree from Memorial University in Newfoundland before moving to Ontario to complete training in Family Medicine at Queen’s University. Women’s Health and Fertility Medicine have been a passion of hers throughout her training that she continues to pursue. She is thrilled to be utilizing her unique skill set to help patients facing challenges conceiving, after her own personal experience with infertility. She has practiced full scope family medicine since 2015 in the Simcoe County area - where in the summer you can find her water skiing and in the winter cross country skiing.
